Bestival

Bestival was something I was looking forward to for a very long time.  Like I said in my post last week, I love anything and everything that comes from the UK and this exceeded my expectations.  The rain on Friday only felt right, and literally felt like we were on the Isle of Wight in England (where the OG Bestival is held).  But thank goodness the weather was amazing on Saturday, I don't think I was ready to be in the rain for another day.

The props were like nothing I've ever seen before.  The blow up chapel, the Bollywood stage with all the colourful animals, the amazing flags that were set up across from the main stage.  The "I <3 Bestival" sign was a hit and packed the whole time.

The highlight?  The Bestival Parade!  You just had to let your freak flag fly there.  The amount of people that were dressed up and just didn't give a shiz was amazing.  We followed it from the start to the finish.  The craziness and happiness was contagious and you couldn't help but dance like no one was watching.

It was definitely a highlight of the summer.  I am already looking forward to Bestival 2016.  If you didn't go this year, you should 100% consider going next.

Have a good day!
